I’d like to start this letter with a question: What does it mean to truly feel at ease as you move through life?

For me, the answer is deeply personal.

Years ago, after a spine injury, I found myself searching for something simple but surprisingly hard to find—a pair of shoes that would let me move freely, without adding to my pain, and with a style that felt like me. Frustrated with what was out there, I decided to take a step (literally) toward creating something better, something I couldn’t find: a brand dedicated to comfort, style, and, most importantly, the joy of movement.

Our mission is to empower people to move freely and happily. Sunnystep is about more than shoes—it’s about creating products that celebrate the freedom and joy of movement in every step.

We partnered with the best minds at MIT Sports Lab to bring advanced science into every pair, crafting insoles that distribute pressure perfectly and designs that combine biomechanics with everyday style. Our shoes aren’t just about looking good—they’re about feeling good, from the first step to the last.
